Research and Development

All new designs are tested both in-house and by independent NATA accredited laboratories prior to manufacture and installation. These include the CSIRO, Ian Bennie and Associates, National Acoustic Laboratory, Schlegel Testing Facility and others.

Micos also has its own on-site test facility to meet the ongoing demands of it's R&D department.

New product design and product development is a crucial factor in the survival of our company.In an industry that is rapidly changing and presents ever-changing demands, Micos continually revises its design and range of products. We find it necessary due to continuous technology change and the changing preference of customers to present new innovations that add value to each project and market.

Micos drives R&D by putting the customer needs first, and only produces goods which add value to the customer. 

Research

Prior to each product development, market research is conducted to establish where the product gap can be improved. After analysing research results, Micos quickly adopts a workable approach to production, and product realisation.

Development

Micos products then need to prove technically superior, ensuring that the R&D delivers to the market's needs and conclusively adds value when the product reaches its project destination.
